Dr. Amy Governor
Born and raised in West Virginia, Dr. Amy Governor attended West Virginia University where she graduated with a degree in Exercise Physiology and a minor in Biology. She continued at West Virginia University’s School of Dentistry where she was inducted into the Delta Sigma Delta International Dental Fraternity. Dr. Governor started with community outreach programs in dental school, including Mission of Mercy dental clinics as well as an international children’s clinic in Guatemala with Global Dental Relief. Since then, she’s continued to provide dental care to members of the community among several local and domestic clinics as well as working within assisted living facilities.
Prior to moving to Butler, Dr. Governor previously practiced throughout West Virginia initially in her hometown of Charleston and then in the Morgantown area. She has thrown herself into extensive additional training with focuses on full mouth rehabilitation cases, bonded and porcelain cosmetic restorations, dental implants, and injectables. Dr. Governor is passionate about improving the lives of her patients by providing the highest level of care.

Dr. Governor resides in Connoquenessing Township with her husband, Franklin, and their Alaskan Klee Kai dog, Suki. In her spare time, you’ll likely find her outdoors hiking with her family or paddle boarding on a lake. She also enjoys delicious meals among family and friends, as well as traveling the world.
